LOL... pretty sure that is a biased review seeing as how, if you are the Kev-1 ranked #1 on HackBBS, this ought to kick your score up here a bit.

But... HackBBS looks like a very nice site. Happy to see them join. And maybe it will help my pitiful French score.

i'm sure it's just a temporary problem but i want to post it just in case the admin is un-aware..

in the challenges section my solved challenges appear unsolved and vice versa..
i hope everything is ok because it's a great site!!

I like HackBBS. The challenges are interesting and some of them are unique to HackBBS, as far as I can tell.

The scoring is strange though. Points per challenge range from 10pts to 10000pts per challenge (according to the table here), with the single 10000 point challenge being about 1/5 of the total points awarded on the site. Taken overall, the top scoring 7 or 8 (of 84) challenges are worth half the points on the site. Additionally, points awarded don't seem reflective of challenge difficulty to me and I've solved about 44 of the 84 challenges so I've been through a fair number of them.

sure, but only 15 solve the "speciale" (10000pts) it's really difficult to pass it.

That may be true, but it is still a frustrating way to build a game. Look at WeChall. "Training: Get Sourced" is just about the easiest challenge it is possible to build. Its worth one point. Then look at "Count, don't wonder". Its been up for 2y 141d and 4 people have solved it. Its worth 7 points. That is, lowest to highest is not a factor of a thousand. And even if it really is that hard, a number of your other challenges award too few points.

That's my feedback. Do with it what you want. I'm not going to have a prolonged debate about it. Got to go back to solving stuff now .

Don`t look at it! just count and wonder

Count and wonder might get raised to 9 points. it is really hard and crazy chall, yet straight forward

But on wechall, only % counts. You need to solve a lot challs on a single site to get good points.
Reaching 50% on a site is easy, but 80% is not

Also, i think you should not take the scoring too serious.
The main goal is to interconnect challenge sites and players, not make a perfect ranking.
