Mission World Peace

The recent “incidents” made me think about this more than I expected.

“World peace” is a beautifully maintained interface - clean, polished, reassuring.

Underneath, the system never stopped running conflicts. It just got better at hiding them. Wars renamed. Tensions reframed. Signals buried under noise.

If you’ve been paying attention, you can see the cracks flicker through: markets twitching at shadows, alliances speaking in careful half-sentences, sudden events that disappear from headlines as quickly as they appear.

What’s more disappointing isn’t the system - it’s humanity.
We adapt to it. We scroll past it. We trade truth for comfort and call it stability.
Given the choice, we don’t demand peace - we accept the illusion of it.

Nothing is stable. It’s just synchronized.

Peace isn’t real. It’s negotiated latency between disruptions.
And lately… the delays are getting shorter.
