I fixed the challenge in the way to restore the original bug.
It's not directly a vulnerability in the classic sense but it's still a bug which leads to a vulnerability.
So I think it's valid to let challenge work. It's only 2 points. It's probably harder. But with the hints given here, I think that's okay.
